The Village of Swanton Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) was enacted by the Mayor and Village Council in December 2003 in an effort to encourage reinvestment and the revitalization of the Village of Swanton. The Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) program is a direct incentive tax exemption program designed to benefit property owners who renovate existing or construct new nonresidential buildings inside the Village of Swanton. The CRA program is intended as an economic development tool to promote commercial and industrial renovation, expansion, and new construction in the Village of Swanton.
